Cradle Moon is a nature reserve in Muldersdrift. I hike there often as its not far from where I live.
This was from the day I took my teenage daughter Claire on a little hike around the lake. It was not easy for her and I was proud when she made it all the way, despite the heart of the midday sun.
This painting records a part of the trail where we were both hot, tired and hoping to finish soon.
