One of my favourite works. I want to
amuse and intrigue you by placing
something everyday in an unusual
setting, in this case a pig.
What is he doing there?Why is he
so happy? I want you to believe the
scene is real by using a realistic style,
but the angle of the table and the merry
flowers on it tell you it can't be.
The plate then puts it back into the real.
This work received a merit award at the
annual New Signatures exhibition in
Pretoria and was also exhibited in the
Gertrude Posel gallery at Wits.
